  • Job Description:

    General Position Summary/Purpose : The Director/Sr. Director, Human Resource Programs position is responsible for the strategic development, management and execution of organizational programs and processes that will aligned the Pharmacyclics organization in areas such as Total Reward Program Administration, Organizational Program Alignment (programs and projects ranging from Annual Review Planning & Compensation Planning, Wellness Programs, New Hire on boarding, to Bring your Kids to Work programs), Employee Relations/Investigation, HR Communications and Business Reporting/Analytics for Pharmacyclics LLC, globally. This position will report directly to the Head of Human Resources and manage a team of HR professionals. Critical Competencies for Success: · Strategy/Process Development : Utilizing process and performance enhancing frameworks, such as six sigma/agile/lean, set direction and foundation for Human Resource programs and processes. · Program Management : Designing and implementing core programs across all Human Resource disciplines, including establishing partnerships and engaging external content providers for needed content (most importantly with the AbbVie program counterparts). · Stakeholder Engagement : Partnering with HRBPs and senior leaders to directly and indirectly ensure alignment between program development and business needs/goals. Responsibilities: Initial priorities for position will be to develop and execute a functional strategy that allows for stealth program administration across all areas of responsibility that can be metrisized. · Determining the HR Programs & Quality functions overall direction and priorities assuring the linkage to the overall execution of Human Resources and business strategy and objectives. · Identifying the key programs, processes and systems required to accelerate the HR functions capabilities while ensuring all solutions fit seamlessly with the overall HR Programs & Quality direction. · Developing and applying a set of metrics and a process for evaluating all programs, systems and processes. · Identifying internal & external best practices (partnering with appropriate AbbVie program leads) and applying them to programs and processes for continuous improvement. · Serving as the key liaison for program activities on business integrations as appropriate. · Attracting and retaining the highest quality talent. · Areas Specific Information includes but is not limited to: o Total Rewards - Benefits, Compensation, HR Systems (Taleo, Workday, HRB ADP, etc.) administration and coordination with AbbVie as needed. o Program/Project Management - Support across the HR disciplines for all program/project efforts. Areas include: Immigration, relocation, tuition assistance, employee recognition, wellness efforts, annual planning, summer internships, talent development, etc. o Business Analytics/Reporting - Creation and execution of HR dashboard, Weekly, monthly, quarterly reporting on HR metrics as well as business required reporting. Specialized reporting as it pertains to Talent Development planning, organizational efficiencies, required reporting for all areas of Human Resources. o Communications - Development of a strategic communications plan, an HR event/program annualized calendar, and coordination with Corporate Communications team on all HR related communications to employee groups and the broader organization. Ensure Pharmacyclics Employee Handbook is properly maintained and disseminated to the organization. o Employee Relations & Investigations - Work closely with HR Consulting, Compliance and AbbVie teams to address employee relation issues and investigations. o General Function Administration - Organizational chart management, implementation and management of electronic filing system for personnel, benefit, general department filing needs.
