    General Position Summary/Purpose: As a key member of the HR Team, this position plays a mission critical role in meeting Pharmacyclics business objectives as the company continues its dynamic growth trajectory. The Senior Recruiter will partner with managers to anticipate and meet the evolving needs of a client group to deliver the best talent in the organization. The position will nurture relationships with prospective talent and manage on-going manager relationships all while having FUN doing it! We are a true contributor to the growth of the company and we provide the talent that makes this company successful, developing and executing the staffing strategy for supported groups within Pharmacyclics. This position will partner with their HR colleagues and business leaders to deliver the strategy and highest quality professional candidates. This individual will perform full lifecycle recruiting while ensuring the best candidate experience with an eye for constantly improving the process for candidates and internal stakeholders. Major Key Job Duties / Accountabilities / Core Responsibilities: * Work closely with all HR functions to enhance a "One HR Team" approach when engaging with the organization. * Ensure that every hiring manager receives thoughtful recruiting and on boarding consultation, support and guidance. * Develop job descriptions and creative job postings to suit recruiting needs. * Manage the full cycle of recruiting process through actively recruiting applicants to achieve staffing objectives and close requisitions in accordance with established strategies and standards. This includes: source, interview, negotiate with and make offers to, and close selected candidates, while ensuring a total pre-employee life cycle process that's optimum for the candidate and company. * Execute a strategy that leads to increased candidate flow and optimizes a diversity of candidate sources. * Maintain and foster a network of applicant sources to generate a lead when a need is requested. * Work with Hiring Managers to ensure job requirements and expectations are clearly understood and candidates are assessed against appropriate criteria. * Manage the preparation and distribution of Job Postings to internal and external employment sites. * Manage initial candidate review to include prescreening resumes, distributing resumes to appropriate managers, and conducting phone prescreens as needed. * Create and execute effective interview methods within functions (1:1, panel - behavioral interview framework to ensure an effective exchange of information) to ensure an optimized experience for the hiring team and candidates. * Play a key role in recruiting at a calendar of events to enhance Pharmacyclics image with the goal of building a broader pool of top talented candidates for the Company through social media and face-to-face networking. * Initiate and use creative and effective sourcing techniques, including social recruiting, meetup groups, etc., as well as executing ways to refresh ongoing recruitment programs. . * Network and build relationships with diverse key candidate communities for short and long term recruiting opportunities. * Use recruiting information systems (e.g., Taleo, LinkedIn) to find, capture and process candidates in a creative, (cost) effective and efficient manner. * Stay informed of, develop, recommend and implement best talent acquisition practices. * Maintain metrics for periodic and ad hoc reports to gauge the success and cost of current programs; make recommendations as needed to drive desired outcomes. * Work with HR and other internal resources to enhance recruiting section of company website and integrate company branding message. Educations/Qualifications and Requirements: We are seeking an individual with a high level of professionalism, consultation skills, and humor that has demonstrated sound judgment, optimism, creativity, versatility, flexibility, energy, drive, courage and of course is highly focused on delivering results.This incumbent will have: * 7-10+ years of full lifecycle recruiting experience in a rapidly scaling life science company. * An undergraduate degree in business, sciences, or other relevant field. * Demonstrated success with increasing responsibilities and complexities in the key responsibilities of this role. * Dedication to providing the highest level of service. * Extraordinary relationship-building, negotiating and written and oral communication skills. * Working knowledge of employment and benefit laws/regulations. * Demonstrated proficiency in use of recruitment-related technology (e.g, Taleo, database mining, internet tools, Outlook, social media) and understands the importance of making the administrative portions of the role a priority. * Knowledge of/experience in other HR disciplines preferred. * Appropriate certifications (e.g., AIRS), a plus.
